Cunninghams is a full service jewelry store and offers a complete array of services. This list of services is just a few examples of the way we help our customers take care of their most valuable possessions. Since we have been doing this for over 100 years, our customers have grown to depend on our advice and workmanship. Please do not hesitate to call if you do not see your specific request listed.
appraisals
• All jewelry purchased in our store comes with a complimentary appraisal at time of sale. In addition, we have an appraiser on our staff which dedicates appointments to service all your needs in this area. She is certified by the Gemological Institute of America. Please call for a specific appointment if you would like to meet with the appraiser.
• Insurance appraisals start at $75/hour. For uncomplicated jewelry the time frame will be around an hour. More intricate jewelry will be priced accordingly. We will be happy to give you an estimate for your more elaborate items.
• Valuation appraisals (cannot be used for insurance purposes) or appraisal updates (if you have an old appraisal, whether from us or another jewelry store) start at $45/hour.

Let Cunninghams help you design a piece of jewelry that is uniquely yours. Whether using stones from your grandmother’s cherished piece of jewelry or starting from scratch, we can guide you in the process. We work in all precious metals and can create exactly what you are dreaming of whether your taste leans from traditional to modern.
engraving
• Machine engraving is done on-site and usually completed and ready for pick up within 5-7 business days. Please be aware that during certain holiday seasons engraving may take longer for completion. We can engrave almost anything - examples include Waterford crystal, Yeti cups, the inside of bracelets or rings - the possibilities are endless! Engraving starts at $25 per item.
• Laser engraving is done locally and usually completed and ready for pick up within 7-10 business days. Pricing starts at $40/item.
• Hand engraving requests must be sent out and take a minimum of 3 weeks. Please give us a call to request a quote for your order.

repairs
RING SIZING
We can size most rings. Sizing up begins at $60 and sizing down begins at $45. Please call or stop in for a pricing estimate on sizing your ring.
CLEANING & CHECKING PRONGS
Because we believe it is prudent to have the safety of your rings examined, we recommend a professional cleaning and safety check of all prongs and settings every six months. There is no charge for in store cleaning while you wait, however, if you would like a deeper cleaning or polish, pricing starts at $20.
MISSING STONES
We buy from stone dealers all over the world and we can match missing stones almost all of the time.
PEARL STRINGING
Pearl stringing takes 1-2 weeks for completion. Pricing is approximately $4.00 per inch for a single strand of knotted pearls.
CHARM BRACELETS
Pricing for soldering begins at $30 per charm.
WATCH & CLOCK REPAIR
Batteries for most watches can be swapped out in store and cost $15.
Hand-wound clocks usually take 1-2 weeks for repair. Depending on the clock and the repair work needed, prices start at $150.
SILVER POLISHING, REPAIR, OR REFINISHING
Our in-house silver polisher is here every Wednesday. Please drop your items by no later than Tuesday afternoon for Friday pick up. Prices depend on the amount of pieces and how tarnished they are. Please call or stop in with your items for any additional questions.
Silver plate or sterling silver repair/refinishing must be sent out. Estimates have to be given by our silversmith. If you decide not to repair you item(s), we charge a $30 shipping fee to get it there and back. We can send pictures, just be aware the estimate might change once he receives the item and is able to examine the item.
