About Us
Over 100 years ago, Robert Cunningham, a jeweler from West Point, Georgia, moved to Brunswick and began working for Abe Rothschild in a jewelry store located at the (now demolished) Wright Building on the corner of Newcastle and Gloucester.
When Abe Rothschild decided to leave the jewelry business, Robert bought the store in March of 1916. Cunningham Jewelers has been in several locations in Downtown Brunswick, but in 1965 Carol Cunningham moved the shop to its current location at 1510 Newcastle Street.
Current mother-daughter owners, Durrett Moerman and Alexia Miller took ownership in May of 2013. Whether it be fine jewelry, table settings, or gifts for everyone from newborn babies to great-grandparents, we have everything you need to celebrate all the special occasions in your life. As one of the oldest jewelry stores in Glynn County, we are currently serving our sixth generation of customers.
